On 23 March it is one year since the 1st Covid-19 lockdown and church leaders are supporting the Marie Curie National Day of Reflection. We are encouraged to pause, reflect on our collective loss, and reach out to those millions who are grieving, to show they are not alone. There will be a minute's silence at midday and we are all invited to put a light on our doorstep at 8pm.
We will be running a Lent Course called, ‘Extravagant Generosity and Unexpected Acts of Kindness: walking God’s stepping stones of love,’ on Wednesdays at 10.30am (from 17 Feb) and Thursdays at 7pm (from 18 Feb) via Zoom. This is a six-week bible study for Lent, written for us by Rev Dr David Perry, which helps us explore and practice generosity and kindness as disciples of Jesus. If you would like to register for the course please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Join us for Messy Church on Zoom - Tuesday 16th February at 10am. We will share birthdays, a story, song, prayer and jokes. It is half term week so we hope you're able to take part. Please contact me for the Zoom link: email@example.com.
Parents/carers, join us on Zoom this Saturday 30th January 2021 at 10am, where one of our members, a teacher, has kindly offered to provide tips and advice on home schooling. Please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org for the Zoom link. Hope to see you there!
