We come to worship God with all of our heart. We want worship that “feeds us” spiritually and we want to see more people becoming, and growing as Christians in our churches.
There are many events which are ongoing throughout the week in our churches. Please see the News & Events
and Our Churches
pages for more details.
Yet, each of us comes to worship with different needs and each week they can vary. So we have a number of types of service happening in our churches.
a ‘hymn sandwich’ with a sermon and our most common service.
a relaxed and informal café style of service that is interactive and more modern in style
Scripture and Song
a service where we concentrate on one book of the bible and read longer passages of it thinking on what it means for us today. The songs are under 40 years old so we can learn some new ones.
‘Taste and See’
we try different styles of worship some from other traditions e.g. Taizé and Iona Community and some from our own tradition as Methodists e.g. a ‘Love Feast’ where we share what God is up to in our lives.
this is another relaxed and informal style of service based around a question and is a bit like a led discussion.
Whatever style of service you will receive a warm welcome and you can check out what is on where on the preaching plan on this website.
